Lessons
Crown Point offers both private and group instruction focusing on Hunters and Jumpers. Lessons are typically about 45 min - 1 hour of saddle time. It can fluctuate based on age and experience of the rider.
For beginner riders, time is spent to teach proper grooming, tacking and general care of the horse before and after the saddle time. The grooming, tacking and horse care is always the responsibility of the rider. Supervision is provided for lower levels.
We have high quality school horses to teach different levels of riders to ensure students have a safe and educational ride.

Jump Sand Ring
We feel very grateful to be located in the Sandhills of NC where natural sand is our standard for the farm. What does that mean for our footing? It means our footing drains quickly after rain, and the horses are happy with it.
Covered Ring
Inclement weather doesn’t slow us down! Our covered ring located behind the main barn is a great alternative to riding in the rain.
The covered ring is a standard Full-size Dressage arena size complete with markers.
It’s also equipped with very good lighting and jumps can be moved in as needed.
Derby Field
Again, living in the Sandhills has its many benefits, including great footing in the grass. We take advantage of giving our horses and riders a variety of places and experiences to ride by designing a grass jump field with top quality jumps.
