Boarding & Training
Full Care Board
Crown Point offers 20 stalls of full care board that are split into 3 barns. There is a 12 stall main barn, a 4 stall shed row barn and a 4 stall walk-out individual paddock barn.
As a Full Care Boarding Farm, the following services are among the many routine care taken to ensure your horse has the ultimate care and attention and is included with your board.
Night turnout, optimizing as many hours in the pasture as possible, weather permitting
Blanketing, as needed
2 meals a day - Triple Crown Senior, Purina Enrich, Beet Pulp, Alfalfa Pellets, Outlast, Electrolytes - or whatever your horse needs, we can usually customize per horse as needed
Supplements provided by you administered
Holding for farrier or vet as needed
Free choice hay - typically a timothy/orchard/fescue, supplemented alfalfa as needed
Round bales in hay huts for pastures during grass dormant months
Turnout options range from individual walk-out paddocks, individual pastures, small group turnouts in larger pastures
All pastures have run-in sheds
Paddock Barn
The paddock barn has 4 - 12X12 stalls is located next to the shed row and shares the amenities with the shed row barn.
Each stall has stable comfort stall mattress system flooring offering ergonomic support for horses, enhancing their comfort and well-being.
The stalls have dutch doors that open up to individual paddocks measuring approximately ¼+ acre.
The paddock barn has great ventilation in the summer plus individual fans. During inclement weather, the barn can also be closed as needed for comfort.
The monthly board is $900 per month.
Shed Row Barn
The shed row barn is located at the front of the property next to the grass derby jump field and across from the paddock barn. It has it’s own grooming/wash stall with hot/cold water as well as a climate controlled tack room.
With 4 stalls, each one is equipped with matted flooring, personal fans and a window.
The monthly board is $900 per month.
Main Barn
The 12 stall main barn has 2 grooming/wash stalls featuring, fans, heaters, hot and cold water. Our climate controlled rooms are: a spacious tack room with it’s own sink for cleaning tack, a full bathroom with shower, a lounge with a washer/dryer, refrigerator, kuerig coffee/tea/hot chocolate maker, as well as the feed room.
The stalls are comfy 12×12 with cushioned flooring and dutch doors.
The monthly board is $1200 per month.
Training
When you board with us, a training package is a requirement and added to your board each month.
Our trainer, Mary Jones, works hard to keep you and your horse in the best shape through training rides and lessons.
Lessons are scheduled directly with Mary weekly. Lessons can be private, semi-private or group depending on schedules and needs.
Training starts at $400 per month for 8 monthly sessions, with the balance of training rides and lessons tailored to your horse’s development and your personal goals.
Farrier & Vet
We are thrilled with the support team we have helping us to keep the horses feeling the best.
Charles Brooks, farrier of choice, takes care to personalize each horses’ needs to ensure they feel and move the best. He works great with the vet and xrays when needed, as well as listens to any concerns of the riders.
We utilize Foundation Equine of Vass as well as 3H Mobile Equine of New Hill for routine, emergencies and maintenance of the horses.
