About Our Family
Kim, Kurt, and Karlee Reagan are very dedicated and passionate about what they do. Treating every horse as their own and every person as family. They originally rebuilt the farm in 2007, with intentions of providing a multidiscipline boarding barn. Kim started riding at the age of ten owning her first horse Majestic Sands. He was an Arabian that she did western and trails with. She started her daughter’s riding career at a young age as well, later buying Karlee her first horse Red Tail Scamp, aka Scamp, at the age of ten. Scamp was originally a successful barrel racer and loved what he did, however they decided to venture into other disciplines and found he was a natural born jumper. This is where the Reagan family started in their journey of the English discipline. Karlee has traveled all over showing in hunt seat and the jumpers divisions with her boy Scamp. They have appeared at the Lake County Fair, Happy note, IHJA shows, and many more. Around the age of fourteen, the family added a new member, Valley. Valley was four years old and bought from a local breeder, Key Stone Holsteiners. They were fortunate enough to have her posted as the Premium mare in the Mare Book, winning Reserve Champion. The Reagan family takes pride in their farm and offers lessons, full care boarding, sales, and training. The barn has successfully stood for twelve years now and provides every equine and boarder with top quality care as well as a “no drama” atmosphere. The Reagan family attempts to keep the farm modern and clean to ensure their guests feel at home.
