Gracie relaxing in her stall

Stalls

The Reagans, owners of K & R, have taken the time to insure that the facility provides a warm and welcoming experience for the boarder and their horse.  Cozy 10' x12' box stalls offer floor mats and plentiful shavings to keep the horses comfortable and at ease.  Stall fans are   hung in the hot parts of the year to insure comfort for the horses, although a nice breeze tends to blow just the right way in the summer to keep the barn cool on its own.

Crossties

Crossties are provided for tacking, grooming, and general horse care.  Owners can work with their horses in a safe environment outside their stall.  There are three crosstie locations throughout the barn with bridle and saddle racks to assist the tacking up process.  This is also where most farrier and vet work takes place.

Spacious tack lockers

Lockers

Each boarder is provided with an individual locker space to keep their grooming supplies, tack, and other horse needs.  Boarders are welcomed to bring a padlock or key lock to lock for individual security.  Each locker provides hooks for bridles and other necessities, as well as a custom saddle rack and plenty of floor space for storage.

Indoor Arena

Arenas

We provide our boarders with two spacious enclosed areas for riding and exercising their horses.  Both the indoor and outdoor rings underwent a complete footing renovation in 2008 and now provide an ideal area for exercising and enjoying a quality riding experience.  Footing in the rings is appropriately groomed as needed so that it stays level, offering a safe environment for working.  The outdoor ring, which offers a seating area and available jumps, is properly designed to drain water from footing to prevent a slick surface after rain. The indoor ring, measuring 60ft. x 130ft., is one of the most spacious in the area.  The indoor has a newly installed lighting system and a heated observation room for the comfort of our guests.

We offer the services of our in-house Trainers, Farriers and Veterinarians, but you are always welcome to use your own.
We welcome all disciplines and breeds.
